Rajat Patidar, the Royal Challengers Bengaluru skipper, won the toss and decided to bowl first at Arun Jaitley Stadium, thinking the pitch would give the batters a good chance later in DC vs RCB. But things got a little shaken up when opener Phil Salt was out sick with a fever, making way for England allrounder Jacob Bethell to make his IPL debut. Over on Delhi Capitals’ side, Faf du Plessis was back after healing from his groin injury, stepping in for Ashutosh Sharma. Both teams flexed their lineup moves, setting up for an interesting showdown.
