Sohail Tanvir (2008)

In the 2008 Indian Premier League, Pakistani cricketer Sohail Tanvir, who played 11 games for the Rajasthan Royals, won the Purple Cap. Kagiso Rabada (2020)

Kagiso Rabada, a South African cricket player who played 17 games for the Delhi Capitals in the 2020 Indian Premier League, won the Purple Cap. In 17 games, including a match against Jasprit Bumrah, he claimed 30 wickets. In the IPL match against Bumrah, Rabada’s outstanding performance earned him the Purple Cap. He took 30 wickets. Harshal Patel (2021)

Mohammad Shami (2023)

Indian cricketer Mohammed Shami has been named the Gujarat Titans’ Purple Cap for the 2023 IPL season. With 28 wickets in 17 matches, Shami led the Gujarat Titans pace attack and earned the Purple Cap for the 2022 Indian Premier League season. He is the most recent Purple Cap victor, having claimed 28 wickets in 19 IPL 2023 games. Shami, however, will miss IPL 2024 because of an ACL reconstruction. In the IPL competition, he was a player for the Gujarat Titans and the Gujarat Titans.
